案道生曰：此下明皆非作法，然生了之義於茲而顯也。由六度而成菩提，故曰生也。寶亮曰：六度取菩提義力強，故名為生因。

Daosheng comments: Below this, it clarifies that these are all non-conditioned phenomena, yet the meanings of generative and revealing causes become clear through this. Bodhi is accomplished through the six pāramitās, hence it is called 'generative.' Baoliang comments: Because the six pāramitās have strong efficacy in taking hold of bodhi, they are called generative causes.
