案僧亮曰：答第七難也。寶亮曰：答第六難也。明昔言僧常者，以前佛後佛僧寶恒自相續，豈謂嶷然常耶？十二因緣常者，有佛無佛，正因之性無改，故言常也。第七難，義同第三，無別答。

Sengliang states: This answers the seventh objection. Baoliang states: This answers the sixth objection. He explains that when it was previously said that the Saṅgha is permanent, it was because the Saṅgha jewel continuously succeeds itself between former buddhas and later buddhas; how could it mean a static permanence? When it is said that the twelve links of dependent origination are permanent, it means that whether buddhas exist or do not exist, the nature of the direct cause does not alter, and therefore it is called permanent. The seventh objection is identical in meaning to the third, so there is no separate answer.
