案僧亮曰：答意非無從生之義，故言有耳。僧宗曰：不言乳已有酪，以果由生，故言有耳。

Sengliang comments: The intention of the answer is that it is not without the meaning of arising from it, and therefore it is merely said to exist. Sengzong comments: He does not say that milk already has curd; because the fruit arises from it, it is merely said to exist.
