案僧亮曰：指合成捲，而指散捲滅。合散成滅，不異於指，煩惱亦爾也。

Sengliang comments: When the fingers come together, they form a fist; when the fingers open, the fist perishes. Coming together, dispersing, forming, and perishing are not different from the fingers; afflictions are also like this.
