案僧亮曰：三慧是道，始從聞思也。念是聞慧、慧是思慧、發心是修慧，是六次第也。
Sengliang comments: The three wisdoms are the path, beginning from hearing and reflection. Mindfulness is the wisdom of hearing; wisdom is the wisdom of reflection; and generating the aspiration is the wisdom of cultivation—these are the six stages in sequence.
