案僧亮曰：答初關難也。寶亮曰：先遣初意也。明一神解雖念念生滅，要冥相資，故得有用也。

Sengliang remarks: "This answers the objection of the first prong." Baoliang says: "First, he dispatches the first sense. He clarifies that although a single consciousness's understanding arises and perishes moment by moment, they must imperceptibly assist one another; hence they come to have efficacy."
