案僧亮曰：此下皆為逐外道故，次第至此。外道於此必受化故，故來此也。寶亮曰：第五，為逐外道，兼先受此受故也。

Sengliang remarks: "From here down, it is all for the sake of pursuing the non-Buddhists that he arrived here in sequence. Because the non-Buddhists would certainly be converted here, he came here." Baoliang says: "Fifth, to pursue the non-Buddhists, and also because he had previously accepted this offering."
