案僧亮曰：第二難，向辨無用，知見非向。今明根熟則昧，故知見色根非是我也。

Sengliang comments: "The second objection: having just distinguished [the window's] lack of function, we know that seeing is not the window. Now it is clarified that when faculties mature they become dimmed; thus we know that the faculty which sees forms is not the self."
