6.13

案法瑤曰：此譬謂佛具足，若應住世，為我說之；如其涅槃，於諸法畏而不說也。曇濟曰：如來如似畏有為也。

Fayao notes: "This simile means that the Buddha has complete mastery: if he ought to remain in the world, he should speak it for us; if he enters nirvāṇa, it is out of fear of dharmas that he does not speak it." Tanji stated: "It is as though the Tathāgata fears the saṃskṛta."
