案寶亮曰：此第三奪已昔日所因也。有四句，唯勸令忘懷兩修而德也。雖服袈裟者，此乃始學之初門，非涉真之極路也。

Baoliang states: "This third [section] deprives them of the causes they practiced in the past. It has four phrases, solely urging them to forget duality, cultivate both, and attain virtue. Although wearing the kāṣāya, this is merely the initial gate of beginning study, not the ultimate path of entering truth."
