案僧亮曰：二法雖等，煩惱提起應更兩修，能制煩惱然後捨也。
Sengliang states: Although the two dharmas are equal, if afflictions stir and arise, one should further cultivate both, and only after being able to suppress the afflictions should one practice equanimity.
