案僧宗曰：第四舉昔成說。如其無三業者必成菩提，是則眾生未曾無此之業，則感報無窮，何時當成菩提耶？
Sengzong states: Fourth, adducing an established teaching of the past. If one devoid of the three karmas will certainly attain bodhi, then since sentient beings have never been without these karmas, they will incur unending retribution; when will they ever attain bodhi?
