60.76

案僧亮曰：重舉諸業，謂若定者則有如是失也。寶亮曰：正以不定，故須修道。若必定者，修道何益耶？

Sengliang states: "He brings up the various karmas again, meaning that if they were fixed, then there would be such faults." Baoliang states: "Precisely because it is not fixed, one must cultivate the path. If it were definitely fixed, what benefit would cultivating the path have?"
