案僧亮曰：此中舉三事，一舉日月自然至頞多山、二舉河必歸海、三舉闡提必入地獄，皆不假因緣也。寶亮曰：此中舉三事為證也。

Sengliang comments: "Here three matters are adduced: first, adducing the sun and moon naturally reaching Mount Astagiri; second, adducing the rivers inevitably returning to the sea; third, adducing icchantikas inevitably entering hell. None of these depend on causes and conditions." Baoliang comments: "Here three matters are adduced as proof."
