案僧亮曰：第五事，明得菩提不由修道，乃關佛性，以證業不定障也。寶亮曰：第四事也。

Sengliang comments: "The fifth matter clarifies that attaining bodhi does not stem from cultivating the path, but rather concerns the buddhadhātu, in order to prove that karma is not a definite obstacle." Baoliang comments: "This is the fourth matter."
