61.92

案僧亮曰：答初證也。分段煩惱盡，任運自成佛耳。僧宗曰：舉第三事也。所以言悉差，乃為六住菩薩；豈是常流而當不須脩耶？

Sengliang comments: "This answers the first proof. When the afflictions of fragmented birth and death are exhausted, one naturally becomes a Buddha on one's own." Sengzong says: "This raises the third case. The reason he says 'all are cured' is for bodhisattvas of the sixth dwelling; how could this apply to the ordinary stream, such that cultivation would not be needed?"
