61.98

案僧亮曰：從了因見，故非本無今有也。內謂緣因，外謂正因。遍因，無內外也。因中不可得，故非有。從二因見，故非無也。亦非遍因，故非此彼。非無因緣，以修道得見，故非餘來也。非無因也，通答中間三證也。

Sengliang comments: "Seen through the revealing cause, it is therefore not that it previously did not exist and now exists. 'Internal' refers to the conditioning cause; 'external' refers to the direct cause. The pervasive cause has neither internal nor external. Because it cannot be found within the cause, it is not existent. Because it is seen through the two causes, it is not non-existent. Nor is it a pervasive cause, hence it is neither this nor that. Not being without cause and condition, because it is seen through cultivating the path, it does not come from elsewhere. Not being without a cause comprehensively answers the three intermediate proofs."
