案僧亮曰：治病在於始起可治之時。不先治之，要有漏時，非等慈也。

Sengliang notes: Curing a disease lies in the time when it first arises and is still curable. If one does not treat it first, but waits until outflows inevitably occur, this is not equal compassion.
