案僧亮曰：善星見佛生瞋，即入地獄。佛住似如不慈，欲請以釋，故致此問也。

Sengliang comments: When Sunakkhatta saw the Buddha, anger arose, and he instantly entered hell. The Buddha's stopping there seems like a lack of compassion; wishing to ask for an explanation, he therefore raised this question.
