65.76

案僧亮曰：眾生有三眾，二乘人根在正定，於向諍事雖不自見，而能從此生信斷疑。寶亮曰：上既列諍論竟，今還結也。明如此之理，非淺識所知。佛是一切智人，隨根施作，無非益物，唯智者乃知也。

Sengliang comments: Sentient beings have three groups. The faculties of practitioners of the two vehicles reside in correct determination; although they do not personally see the disputed matters mentioned earlier, they can generate faith from this to cut off doubt. Baoliang says: Having enumerated the disputes above, he now concludes them. It clarifies that such principles are not what shallow understanding knows. The Buddha is the omniscient one; adapting his actions to dispositions, nothing fails to benefit beings; only the wise can know this.
