65.82

案僧亮曰：執者之信，不從解生，雖信即不信也。何者？信無我之心，必不信世諦之我，故信即不信，謂非善也。不能壞諸疑網者，以淨信斷疑，而信不從理不成淨信，不能斷疑也。

Sengliang comments: The faith of one who grasps does not arise from understanding; although called faith, it is non-faith. Why? A mind that believes in non-self will certainly not believe in the self of conventional truth. Thus faith is non-faith, meaning it is not good. As for "cannot destroy the nets of doubts," it is through pure faith that doubt is severed; when faith does not accord with principle, it does not become pure faith and cannot sever doubt.
