66.54

案僧亮曰：八住下至六住，未斷見習，故說無常。無三界煩惱，故說善也。寶亮曰：九住十住：同得常名。而八住以還無者，故知八地初心，猶應有出入觀也。中忍已上雖無，奪不與名也。

Sengliang states: "From the eighth abiding down to the sixth abiding, one has not yet severed the habit of views, so it is said to be impermanent. Having no afflictions of the three realms, it is said to be good." Baoliang states: "The ninth abiding and tenth abiding equally obtain the designation of permanence. That those from the eighth abiding downward lack it is how we know that in the initial mind of the eighth stage, there still must be emerging and entering contemplation. Although those from the medium forbearance upward lack it, they are stripped of the designation and not granted it."
