案僧亮曰：答第二問也。內外者，愛結是內、瞋慢是外也。寶亮曰：須陀洹人觀於四諦，得四種功德，二據所得、二據所除也。

Sengliang comments: This answers the second question. Regarding 'internal and external': the fetter of craving is internal, while anger and conceit are external. Baoliang comments: When the srotāpanna contemplates the four noble truths, he attains four kinds of virtues: two are based on what is attained, and two are based on what is eliminated.
