案僧亮曰：「是內無明」訖「其內外因」者，是煩惱。內外因能生無明名無明，如說色等名欲也。

Sengliang comments: From 'this internal ignorance' up to 'its internal and external causes', these are afflictions. Internal and external causes capable of giving rise to ignorance are called ignorance, just as speaking of form and so on is called desire.
