案僧亮曰：舉五識無煩惱非倒以決之也。非男生男想者，五識取男女未了，未成煩惱；非令不取，取相是倒，能生貪瞋也。

Sengliang states: He brings up the five consciousnesses having no afflictions and not being inverted to resolve this. 'Not generating the notion of a male regarding a male': the five consciousnesses apprehending male and female is not fully clear, not yet forming afflictions; it is not causing non-apprehension. Grasping at characteristics is inverted and can produce greed and anger.
