70.113

Sengliang remarks: All things arise from conditions and are impermanent dharmas. The reason for saying 'they are identical' is that there is no life-principle apart from the body, nor is there any body apart from the life-principle. As for 'the body is different and the life-principle is different,' the body corresponds to the substance of dharmas, while the life-principle speaks of beginning and end in this way."
