70.39

案僧亮曰：涅槃名滅。滅有二種，謂性滅、相續滅。性是滅無，故言如是也。寶亮曰：亦無所執，直捉常無常以問佛耳。

Sengliang states: "Nirvāṇa is named cessation (nirodha). Cessation has two kinds: essential cessation and continuous cessation. Essential cessation is the non-existence of cessation, hence he says 'It is so.'" Baoliang states: "He also has nothing he grasps onto, but merely seizes upon permanence and impermanence to question the Buddha."
