案僧亮曰：色即是縛者、說有為之過也。智秀曰：第一意，略說因果常無常也。

Sengliang states: "Stating that form is indeed bondage explains the fault of the conditioned." Zhixiu states: "The first import briefly explains the permanence and impermanence of cause and fruition."
