案僧亮曰：假名無定執之問者，常置答也。寶亮曰：欲令其先立義故，所以默然也。

Sengliang states: Regarding questions based on conventional designation without fixed adherence, [the Buddha] always set aside the answers. Baoliang states: Because he wished to have him first establish his thesis, he therefore remained silent.
