案僧亮曰：後云未得道時，是作得道，則常身二故說我二耳，我不二也。

Sengliang states: When he later says 'before attaining the path,' it is acting; when attaining the path, it is permanent. Because bodies are two, he merely says the ātman is two; the ātman is not two.
