71.100

案寶亮曰：得一生實想者，正一生後得佛也。若是無明住地報，則不可以一生二生往格也，乃約應而辨耳。若尋餘經比例，便是未盡，此土無緣，亦以不悉來也。

Baoliang comments: Attaining the real ideation of a single lifetime means that precisely after one lifetime, one attains Buddhahood. If it were retribution of the avidyāvāsabhūmi, then it could not be measured by one lifetime or two lifetimes; this is merely distinguished in terms of manifestation. If one examines the parallels in other sūtras, it means they are not yet exhausted; in this land there were no conditions, and so they also did not all come.
