案僧亮曰：迦葉自疑，雖在大眾之例，懼非應命之人，故有諮也。

Sengliang comments: Kāśyapa doubted himself; though included among the ranks of the great assembly, he feared he was not the person suited to answer the command, which is why he inquired.
