8.86

案僧宗曰：說天魔二道，大眾蒙解，得法津澤，心生歡喜，事由今教也。曇纖曰：下文「時諸天人大眾聞是法已，心生歡喜，踊躍無量。」是即法樂，以答此問也。

Sengzong states: Explaining the two paths of heaven and Māra, the great assembly receives understanding, attains the moistening enrichment of the Dharma, and experiences joy in their hearts; this is brought about by the present teaching. Tanxian states: The text below says: "At that time, all the devas, humans, and the great assembly, having heard this Dharma, gave rise to joy in their hearts and leapt with immeasurable joy." This is the bliss of the Dharma, replying to this question.
