案僧宗曰：前明無滅，此明無病。下〈現病品〉廣明病之不實也。曇纖曰：下文言「今悉見諸菩薩，體貌瑰異，殊大殊妙。」唯見佛身，喻如藥樹，為諸菩薩之所圍繞。是則內外無病，答此問也。

Sengzong states: The previous passage clarified the absence of extinction; this clarifies the absence of illness. The chapter "Manifesting Illness" below extensively clarifies that illness is not real. Tanxian states: The text below says: "Now all behold the bodhisattvas, their bodily forms wondrous, exceedingly great and exceedingly marvelous." They only see the Buddha's body, compared to a medicinal tree, surrounded by all the bodhisattvas. This shows that internally and externally there is no illness, answering this question.
