案僧亮曰：欲學聲聞受身，如皮囊受水，不盛醍醐也。法瑤曰：雖知涅槃方便，而有讀誦之善，非正解，唯得人天。
Sengliang comments: Wishing to emulate śrāvakas in receiving a body, like a leather bag receiving water, it cannot hold ghee. Fayao says: Although they know the upāya of nirvāṇa and have the goodness of reading and reciting, it is not correct understanding, and they only attain humans and gods.
