Daosheng comments: The body in the three realms is the residence of wrong views; being lodged in by evil, with respect to one's original goodness, it is 'someone else's house.' Sengliang says: The fruits of humans and gods are a travelers' inn. Fayao says: The bodies of humans and gods are obtained through delusion. Originating outside principle, they ultimately must come to nothing, which is allegorized as a guest-house. Tanji says: Within saṃsāra is not one's long-term abode, which is allegorized as someone else's house. Zhixiu says: The habituated cause of the understanding of permanence is not a kin of saṃsāra, thus it is a 'guest.' The five aggregates have the meaning of a temporary lodging, hence 'house.'
