次合顯法。「若使如來同諸行者」，合前生子有短壽相。「亦復不為世間敬」者，超合不為沙門等敬。「如來所說不變真法亦無受者」，却合父母不復愛等，以不愛故所說不受。「是故文殊不應說」下，總以結呵。

Next, it applies [the simile] to reveal the Dharma. "If the Tathāgata were identical to conditioned phenomena" applies to the son born with the mark of a short lifespan above. "He would also not be revered by the world" leaps forward to apply to not being revered by śramaṇas and others. "The unchanging true Dharma spoken by the Tathāgata would also have none to receive it" looks back to apply to the parents no longer having affection and so on; because they have no affection, what he speaks is not received. Below "therefore, Mañjuśrī should not speak," it sums up the admonition in conclusion.
