1.34

第三佛眾合明之中，文有十二：一明舊眾、二聲光召新、三明新眾覩相增悲、第四如來動地催集、五明諸眾見動相催雲集佛所、六明如來變林敦勵、七重明諸眾覩相增悲雲集獻供、八總結眾集、九變土令淨、十眾因土淨普見十方、十一如來攝光、十二眾因攝光悲歎流血，下即依此十二段文次第解釋。

Third, in jointly explaining the Buddha and the assembly, the text has twelve sections: first, explaining the old assembly; second, the voice and light summoning the new; third, explaining that the new assembly, beholding the marks, increased in grief; fourth, the Tathāgata shaking the earth to urge their gathering; fifth, explaining that the assemblies, seeing the shaking, urged one another and gathered like clouds at the Buddha's place; sixth, explaining the Tathāgata changing the forest to exhort them; seventh, re-explaining that the assemblies, beholding the marks, increased in grief and gathered like clouds to present offerings; eighth, the overall conclusion of the assembly's gathering; ninth, transforming the land to make it pure; tenth, the assembly, due to the purity of the land, everywhere seeing the ten directions; eleventh, the Tathāgata drawing in the light; twelfth, the assembly, due to the drawing in of the light, lamenting in grief and shedding blood. Below, I will explain them sequentially according to these twelve sections of text.
