「遇斯光者」，簡去無緣。「罪垢、煩惱一切消除」，正明利益。罪名罪報即是報障，垢是業障，煩惱即是煩惱障也，遇佛光故，三障皆除。亦可罪垢是其惡業，業與煩惱遇光皆滅。

“Those who encountered this light” excludes those without the appropriate conditions. “Sinful defilements and afflictions were all eliminated” directly explains the benefit. “Sin” refers to the retributions of sin, which are the obstacle of karmic retribution. “Defilements” are the obstacle of karma. “Afflictions” are precisely the obstacle of afflictions. Because they encountered the Buddha's light, the three obstacles were all eradicated. Alternatively, “sinful defilements” may refer to evil karma; both karma and afflictions were extinguished upon encountering the light.
