第二覩相增悲之中，初明見光，次相驅催，後增悲哽。戀情深重，沸血將出，故體血現，如波羅華。六卷經云「如日初出，照青樹葉，赤脈皆現。」

In the second part, beholding the signs and increasing in sorrow, first seeing the light is clarified, next their urging one another on, and finally increasing in mournful weeping. Their feelings of longing were deep and heavy, and their boiling blood was about to burst forth; therefore, bodily blood became visible, like the *pālaśaka* flower. The six-fascicle sūtra says: 'Like the sun first rising, shining on the green tree leaves, so that the red veins all appear.'
