上來等一明財供養，下明行供，亦名法供，《地持》名為至處道供。於中有三：初「作是念一切眾生若有乏」等，念眾生心；二「作是施時離欲、瞋」等，護煩惱心；三「無餘思」下，求菩提心，無餘思惟求世福樂，唯期菩提求佛果也。「皆已安住於菩薩道」，具佛因也。又復前句是求佛願，皆以安等是求佛行。上來第一辯諸供具。「復作念」下是第二段，念受當滅，心懷悲惱。「各各齎」下是第三段，持供奉佛。「舉聲號」下是第四段，哀請佛受。初先號泣，「復相謂」下發言傷歎，「便自舉」下正請佛受。「舉身」身請，「而曰」口請。上來第二辯供奉佛。

The preceding section first clarified material offerings; below clarifies practice offerings, also called Dharma offerings, which the Bodhisattvabhūmi terms "offerings of the path reaching the destination". In this there are three: first, "had this thought: 'If any sentient beings are in lack'" and so forth, the mind mindful of sentient beings; second, "when making this gift, departing from desire, anger" and so forth, the mind guarding against afflictions; third, from "without other thought" onward, the mind seeking bodhi: without other reflection seeking worldly blessed happiness, solely aspiring to bodhi to seek the buddha-fruit. "All had already firmly abided in the bodhisattva path" means being equipped with the buddha-cause. Furthermore, the preceding phrase is the vow seeking the Buddha, and "all having already firmly [abided]" and so forth is the practice seeking the Buddha. The preceding first part explained the various offering implements. From "they further reflected" onward is the second section: reflecting that once he accepts he will perish, their minds harbored sorrow and distress. From "each carried" onward is the third section: holding the offerings to present to the Buddha. From "raising their voices in lamentation" onward is the fourth section: piteously entreating the Buddha to accept. First, they weep and wail; from "they further spoke to one another" onward, they utter words of grief and lamentation; from "thereupon raising their bodies" onward, they directly entreat the Buddha to accept. "Raising their bodies" is bodily entreaty; "and said" is verbal entreaty. The preceding second part explained offering and presenting to the Buddha.
