所言般者，此翻名入。入義有三：一就實以論，息妄歸真，從因趣果，名之為入；二據化辨入，示滅有因，現亡身智，趣入無為；三就真應相對說入，息化歸真。今此所論，備具三義。

As for parinirvāṇa, pari is translated here as 'entry.' The meaning of entry is threefold: First, discussing it in terms of reality, to bring delusions to rest and return to the real, proceeding from cause toward fruit, is called entry. Second, discerning entry based on transformation, manifesting extinction has its causes, manifesting the cessation of body and wisdom and proceeding to enter the unconditioned. Third, speaking of entry in terms of the contrast between the real and the manifest, to bring transformation to rest and return to the real. What is discussed here is fully endowed with these three meanings.
