10.36

下約境論須陀洹人緣於四諦，明初異後。「那含緣一」彰後異初。於四諦中趣緣一種斷欲界結，不同須陀。此亦辨其次第那含，不論超越，彼非常行之次第故。「是故」下結。

Below, in terms of the cognitive object, it discusses that the stream-enterer focuses on the four truths, clarifying how the initial [attainment] differs from the later ones. "An anāgāmin focuses on one" shows how the later differs from the initial: among the four truths, they only focus on one kind to sever the fetters of the desire realm, unlike the stream-enterer. This also describes the successive anāgāmin and does not discuss the one who transcends, because the latter is not of the sequence of the ordinary practice. From "for this reason" downward, it concludes.
