From here below, the second part clarifies that the Buddha can know the five aggregates of dharma characteristics, transforming and giving rise to antidotal practices. In this, roughly there are two: first, knowing the defiled aggregates; second, knowing the pure aggregates. Divided in detail there are four: first, knowing the defiled fruit, which refers to the ordinary five aggregates; second, knowing the defiled cause, which refers to karma and defilements; third, knowing the pure fruit, which refers to the Buddha's five aggregates; fourth, knowing the pure cause, which refers to the noble path. Knowing these marks fully is called knowing all aggregates. In the text there are three: first, knowing the two kinds of resultant aggregates, permanent and impermanent; second, from 'Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha: How is form produced from defilements?' downward, distinguishing the cause to reveal the fruit; third, from 'Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha: As the Buddha spoke of the three outflows' downward, extensively discussing the causes. In the former, it first clarifies the five aggregates of birth-and-death; from 'Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha: The wise are bodhisattvas' downward, it clarifies the Buddha's five aggregates.
