In the fifth section, the non-Buddhists considering themselves to lack the capacity for the Path is called "having no vessel"; this is spoken in terms of their disposition. Cultivating wholesome deeds according to the Dharma is called "obtaining milk"; lacking the capacity for the Path to retain those good deeds is called "having no place of safe-keeping"; and non-Buddhists possessing only the worldly capacity for good to retain that wholesome deed is why they are said to tell one another, "There is only a leather bag that can contain it." Being unable to observe, destroy marks, and seek the real is therefore described as "not knowing how to churn"; correct contemplation is called churning, and lateral deduction is called shaking. That worldly good cannot arise is called "sour milk is difficult to obtain"; that they are entirely cut off from the fruit of the Path is called "much less butter."
