上來第三廣釋四相，自下第四釋已總結。「菩薩如是開示四相」，就人總結。此四菩薩能開之德，故就結之。「是名大乘大涅槃中因緣義也」，就法別結，《涅槃經》中說是四相，故就結之。理應具結，解緣在後，故偏結之，餘三略也。

The third [part] above extensively explained the four marks; the fourth [part] below summarizes them after having explained them. "The bodhisattva thus reveals the four marks" summarizes with respect to the person. These four are the virtues of the bodhisattva who is able to reveal them, and therefore it summarizes with respect to them. "This is called the meaning of causes and conditions within the Mahāyāna Great Nirvāṇa" specifically summarizes with respect to the teaching; because these four marks are spoken in the Nirvāṇa Sūtra, it summarizes with respect to it. In principle it should have summarized them all, but because the explanation of conditions comes at the end, it specifically summarizes it alone, omitting the other three.
