第四句中，「諸婆羅門聞皆生瞋」，內心瞋嫌，「責此」已下口言呵責，呵正同邪，是故責言「汝婆羅門，云何乃作栴陀羅師？」

In the fourth clause, 'the brāhmaṇas, hearing this, all gave rise to anger' [means that] internally their minds were resentful. From 'rebuked him' downward, they orally reprimanded him, scolding the correct for conforming to the heterodox; therefore they rebuked him, saying: 'You brāhmaṇa, why on earth do you act as a master to a caṇḍāla?'
