第二段中，「護法菩薩亦復如是」合上有一婆羅門子年在弱冠，修持淨行，長髮相等。「以方便力與破戒僧同其事業」，合往王所，乃至共治經歷多年，餘略不合。

Within the second section, 'The bodhisattva who protects the Dharma is also like this' corresponds to the above [statement that] there was a brāhmaṇa's son at the age of capped youth, cultivating and maintaining pure conduct, having the mark of long hair, and so forth. 'By the power of expedient means, he shares enterprises with monks who break the precepts' corresponds to going to the king's place, up to governing together and passing through many years; the remainder is abridged and not correlated.
