就會通中，有二問答：前一問答明其四人合可供養；下一問答明四依人本戒具在，成前應供，良以菩薩本受行違通法之戒，今時所為稱當本戒，故得具在。文中，迦葉先問起發「如是菩薩於戒極緩」以為一句，牒舉前事同惡犯戒，名為極緩；「本戒在不」為第二句，正為徵問。

Within the reconciliation, there are two questions and answers: the first question and answer clarifies that these four persons ought to receive offerings; the latter question and answer clarifies that the original precepts of the persons of the four reliances remain complete, establishing the aforementioned eligibility for offerings. Truly, because the bodhisattva originally received the precept to practice propagating the Dharma even when going against the rules, what they do now accords with their original precept, and therefore it remains complete. In the text, Kāśyapa first asks and initiates: 'Such a bodhisattva is extremely lax regarding the precepts' forms the first clause, repeating the previous matter of acting together with evil [monks] and breaking precepts, calling it 'extremely lax'; 'does the original precept remain or not?' forms the second clause, properly raising the query.
