In the fourth clause, 'If I say that the Tathāgata is permanent, that is just the view of self, which brings immeasurable guilt' is to fear bliss as suffering. From 'Therefore one should' downward is to grasp suffering as bliss—grasping that inverted guilt and suffering as bliss. Saying 'therefore' refers to the immeasurable guilt of saying the Buddha is permanent. 'Therefore one should say that the Buddha is impermanent': saying that the Buddha is impermanent is taken to accord with the principle, and thus it further says, 'If one speaks thus, I will immediately experience bliss.'
